Painting a Face my second attempt
The following is the second attempt at painting a face using photoshop. To be honest I had to start this one over a number of times until It was very difficult giving the face any real form until I was brave enough to use hard contrasts between light and shadow. I also found that the surface texture and strong lines around the main features of the face helped a lot to define the form of the face but I was staring vacantly at a fuzzy blob for a long time.
